Dr. Richard Hattaway DDS

Dr. Richard Shad Hattaway is a family dentist living and practicing in the north Dallas, Texas area. He believes building life-long relationships with his patients is an integral part of comprehensive care. Dr. Hattaway regularly educates his patients on the importance of dental hygiene in-between visits and other ways to prevent dental disease. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan. He completed a residency in advanced general dentistry at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. His treatment focus is full-mouth rehabilitation with specialized training on implant-supported and retained dentures. He is the president of a low-income dental clinic in Arlington, Texas. In addition to providing low-cost care to the area, they have a school-based dental education program. Their innovative program educates school-aged children and offers free toothbrushes, sealants, and fluoride treatments.
